Hello!

We all like to believe we can handle life’s challenges on our own, even if our attempts haven’t brought the desired change. That’s why I find therapy so fulfilling—I’ve been there myself. It takes courage to admit we need help, and the fact that you’re here reading this is a fantastic sign.

My Story

My education and experience in Marriage and Family Therapy have not only honed my skills in helping couples navigate their difficult stages but also confirmed that relationships aren't meant to be easy or "come naturally." I have a knack for asking questions you never thought about and helping you see things from a new perspective. When you’ve been spinning your wheels with your partner, and both feel hopeless, I can see where you’re missing each other and guide you back to the traction you want.

When we meet, you can laugh, cry, or do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. There’s no rigid lesson plan in my sessions because I believe in being authentic. Each session will be tailored to you, your partner, or your family, addressing real issues in a way that resonates with everyone. It may not always be a walk in the park, but our therapeutic journey will transform your everyday experiences.

My journey in this field began during my bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Studies at Brigham Young University, Idaho. As my husband and I started a family (and ended up with four wonderfully unique children), my curiosity about others grew along with my empathy. This curiosity led me to earn my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, where I've found profound fulfillment in watching others learn how to grow individually and with their partners and families.

Although I’m a California native who has traveled through Idaho, Florida, and Utah, I now proudly call Texas my home. Beyond my passion for therapy, I’m a sports enthusiast who can engage in conversations ranging from college football to golf to WWE (thanks to my husband and kids). I’m also a skilled cook, but can't bake a cookie to save my life. And hey, if you can survive my undying love for the Oklahoma Sooners, we can conquer anything together.
